Men's Cross Country Finishes 10th at All-Ohio Intercollegiate Challenge

CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished in 10th place at the All-Ohio Division Intercollegiate Challenge hosted by Cedarville University on the Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

BW was 10th of 15 teams with 235 points.  Ohio Northern University was the champion with 69 points.

The Yellow Jackets was led in the 8k by:

  • Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference runner Carter Almady (Brunswick) finished 67th in a time of 26:12.32
  • Freshman Andrew Piehler (Medina) crossed the finish line at 119th in a time of 26:47.85
  • Freshman Gabe Ghering (Sunbury / Big Walnut) finished 130th in a time of 26:55.39
  • Sophomore Stephen Faltay (Wellington / Keystone) placed 135th in a time of 26:57.37
  • Freshman Dillon Hach (Medina) finished 137th in a time of 26:57.69

BW is back in action on Friday, Sept. 29 when it travels to Delaware  to compete in the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational at Liberty Park.
