FINDLAY, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross-country team finished in 6th place at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Ohio Northern University at the Hillcrest Golf Club.
BW was sixth of ten teams with 150 points. John Carroll University was the champion with 25 points.
The top-10 finishers earn All-OAC first-team honors while the next 10-finishers earn All-OAC second-team honors. Only the top-7 finishers from each team are eligible for these honors.
- Junior Academic All-OAC runner Carter Almady (Brunswick) placed 22nd with a time of 25:38.05
- Freshman Dillon Hach (Medina) finished 29th with a time of 25:50.56
- Junior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine) placed 30th with a time of 25:54.62
- Freshman Gabe Ghering (Sunbury / Big Walnut) crossed the finish line at 45th with a time of 26:20.62
- Junior Academic All-OAC runner Joe Kelly (Lakewood) finished 58th with a time of 26:40.51
- Freshman Andrew Piehler (Medina) placed 59th with a time of 26:44.82
- Freshman Nick Marcovitch (San Antonio, Texas / Johnson) finished 60th with a time of 26:46.33
- Junior Jackson Tucker (Akron / Lake Center Christian School) placed 62nd with a time of 26:51.31
- Sophomore Stephen Faltay (Wellington / Keystone) placed 63rd with a time of 26:52.29
- Sophomore Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia) crossed the finish line at 77th with a time of 27:21.00
- Freshman Sage Egan (Toledo / Ottawa Hills) placed 94th with a time of 27:45.77
- Freshman Trent Macura (Stow / Stow-Munroe Faslls) fiinished 112th with a time of 28:36.20
- Freshman Nate Schweinberg (Gilbert, Ariz. / Lincoln Preparatory Academy) placed 113th with a time of 28:37.65
- Sophomore David Seymour (Bozeman, Mont. / Gallatin) finished 114th with a time of 28:39.35
- Junior Academic All-OAC runner Matt Perry (Mentor) placed 117th with a time of 28:42.48
- Freshman Gavin Ross (Norwalk / Norwalk St. Paul) crossed the finish line at 126th with a time of 29:08.09
- Junior Connor Foody (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Allegheny) finished 133rd with a time of 29:36.44
- Sophomore Miles Heyse (Middleburg Heights / Berea-Midpark) placed 135th with a time of 29:39.53
- Sophomore Jon-Michael Falbo (St. Clairsville / Linsly School) placed 143rd with a time of 30:30.65
- Freshman Griffin Boyer (Berea / Berea-Midpark) finished 154th with a time of 32:23.31
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Nov. 11 when they travel to Norton to compete in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships hosted by John Carroll University at the Silver Creek Metro Parks Cross Country Trails at 11 a.m.
