Men's Cross Country Placed Sixth at OAC Championships

NEW CONCORD, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished in sixth place at the OAC Championships hosted by Muskingum University on Moorehead Farm.

BW placed sixth of 10 teams with a total of 179 points. John Carroll University takes home the win with 40 points.

BW was led in the 8k by:

  • Senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y.) placed 22nd in a time of 27:20.5 
  • Sophomore Carter Almady (Brunswick) placed 42nd in a time of 28:09.5
  • Freshman Stephen Faltay (Wellington / Keystone) finished 46th in a time of 28:13.8
  • Junior Nick Dascani (Toledo / Springfield) finished 48th in a time of 28:16.4
  • Junior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg /Benedictine) placed 72nd a time of 29:07.9

The Yellow Jackets will return to the race course on Saturday, November 12 when they travel to Holland, Michigan to compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships on Three Fires Golf Course, hosted by Hope College.
