Men's Cross Country Placed 24th at the NCAA Division III National Preview

EAST LANSING, Mich. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team finished in 24th place at the NCAA Division III National Preview hosted by Olivet College on Forest Akers Golf Course.

BW placed 24th of 36 teams with a total of 696 points. Massachusetts Institute of Technology was the team champion with 62 points.

BW was led by:

  • Senior David Russo (DePew, N.Y.) placed 72nd in a time of 26:04.9
  • Junior Nick Dascani (Toledo / Springfield) finished 162nd in a time of 27:14.3
  • Junior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg /Benedictine) placed 173rd a time of 27:21.5 
  • Freshman Stephen Faltay (Wellington / Keystone) finished 179th in a time of 27:32.8
  • Sophomore Carter Almady (Brunswick) placed 192nd in a time of 27:40.1

The Yellow Jackets will return to the course on Saturday, October 15th when they travel to Oberlin to compete in the  Inter-Regional Rumble on the Oberlin College Cross Country Course.
