CANTON, N.Y. – Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Tyler Burdorff (Painesville/Riverside) finished in 16th place in the hammer and was the lone Baldwin Wallace University men's track and field student-athlete to compete on the second day of competition at the NCAA Division III National Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by St. Lawrence University on the Merrick-Pinkard Track Complex.
The BW men, who do not have any other competitors in these championships, were unable to score a point.
Burdorff was 16 of 20 competitors with a toss of 178 feet and nine inches.
The third and final day of the NCAA Championships is set for Saturday, May 23 but the Yellow Jacket men have completed competition.
