BW Men's Indoor Track Team Finish Fourth at Denison Shannon Meet

GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field teams finished fourth at the annual Denison University Bob Shannon Invitational Meet inside the Mitchell Fieldhouse.
 
The Yellow Jacket men scored 68 points to finish fourth of 10 teams.

The BW men were led by freshman Kyle Hutchinson and senior Isaac Baker (Lithia, Fla./ Newsome). Hutchinson won the pole vault at 15'0". Baker won the 400-meter dash in a career-best of 51.11 seconds and placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in a career-best of 23.28 seconds. Junior CAPITAL ONE Academic All-American and Division III All-American Ben Beidleman (Washington, D.C./ St. Anselm's Abbey) was second in the 400 in a career-best 51.32 seconds and second in the 200 dash in 22.67 seconds. Sophomore Troy Robinson (Akron/ Garfield) was third in the 200 in 23.20 seconds.
 
The Yellow Jacket track and field teams are back in action on Friday, February 13 when it hosts the annual Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center. Field events begin at 4:00 p.m. Next Saturday, Feb. 14, BW travels to Westerville and Otterbein University for the annual All-Ohio Division III Meet.
