Men's Golf Finishes Fifth at Dan Caschera Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished fifth at their second fall invitational, the 18-hole Dan Caschera Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW finished fifth out of five teams, with 316 strokes on the par-72, 6600-yard course. John Carroll University, the invitational's host, finished first with 295 strokes.

Junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights /Padua Franciscan) led the Yellow Jackets and carded a career-best round of 76. Right behind Naumann was senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection, Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) and Sophomore Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) both posted a round of 78.  

Rounding out the top five was senior Connor Thomas (Medina / Buckeye) who card a round of 84. Freshman Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) posted a round of 85.

Playing as Individuals, sophomore Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills) led with a round for 79. Freshman Trevor Mackey (Brunswick) shot a round of 81. Senior Will Scurci (Mars, Pa. / Mars Area) and freshman Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark) finished with 90 and 87. Senior Mike Douzos (Amherst / Firelands) finished with a round of 112, respectively.  

BW returns to action on Saturday, September 18th, when it competes in a dual match versus crosstown rival John Carroll University at the John DiCillo Invitational at Highland Park Golf Course in Highland Hills, Ohio.
