Bratsch Earns All-OAC Honor; Men's Golf Finish Fifth at OAC Championships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team wrapped up its 2022 season with a fifth-place finish at the three-day Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course. 

The top fourteen individual scorers at the OAC Championships receive All-OAC honors. 

BW finished fifth of nine teams with 1,234 strokes on the par-73 and 5,811-yard River Greens layout. John Carroll University was the champion with 1186 strokes.

Leading the Yellow Jackets:

  • Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) tied fourth while carding rounds of 78,72,69, and 76 for a total of 295.
    • Bratsch earns his first career All-OAC honors
  • Senior Academic All-OAC selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) placed 15th with rounds of 73,77,76, and 79 for a total of 305.
  • Sophomore All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) placed 31st while posting rounds of 77,70,93 and 81 for a total of 321.
  • Freshman Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) tied for 35th and tallied rounds of 77,83, 84 and 81 for a total of 325. 
  • Sophomore Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills) placed 42nd while carded rounds of 88, 83, 81, and 89 for a total of 341.
