Men's Golf Runner Up at John Dicillo Invitational

SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio –The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished second at the annual John DiCillo Invitational hosted by John Carroll University at the Shaker Heights Country Club.

BW was second of three teams with a total of 308 strokes on the par-70 and 6,721-yard Shaker Heights layout. John Carroll was the champion with a total of 303.

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) placed first and tied for his season-low of 71. Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) tied for seventh and carded a round of 77. Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) posted a round of 80. Sophomore Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) shot a round of 80. Rounding out the top five was senior Connor Thomas (Medina / Buckeye) as he had a round of 87.

Playing as individuals were freshmen Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark), freshmen Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw), sophomore Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills), senior Will Scurci (Mars, Pa. / Mars Area), and freshmen Trevor Mackey (Brunswick). Cook led the individuals with a round 82. Miller tallied a round of 85. Baker had a round of 88. Scurci posted a round of 87. Mackey shot a round of 111. 

BW is back in action on Saturday, October 2nd when it hosts the BW Fall Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley.  The Yellow Jackets close out the fall portion of their schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10 when it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview at the River Greens Golf Course.
