Clark Medalist - Men's Golf Tied Runner-Up at Hosted Fall Invitational

HINCKLEY, Ohio –The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team was tied runner up at its very own BW Fall Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club.

BW was tied for second with 315 strokes on the par-72 and 6,748-yard Pine Hills layout.  John Carroll University was the champion with 304 strokes. Also tying for second was Muskingum University. 

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) placed first for the fourth invitational in a row and tied for his season-low of 71 once again. Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) tied for seventh and posted a round of 79. Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Logan Bratsch(Olmsted Falls) carded a round of 81. Rounding out the top five was sophomore All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) and senior Will Scurci (Mars, Pa. / Mars Area) as they both had a round of 84.

Playing as individuals were senior Connor Thomas (Medina / Buckeye), sophomore Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills), senior Mike Douzos (Amherst / Firelands), freshmen Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) and freshmen Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark). Thomas led the individuals with a round 82. Baker had a round of 87. Douzos tallied a round of 88. Miller had a round of 88. Cook shot a round of 91.

BW close out the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 9-10 when it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview at River Greens Golf Course.
