Clark and Bratsch Named OAC Co-Men’s Golfers of the Week

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – After just one week of the fall season, the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team has been honored with two Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfers of the Week  as senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) and sophomore Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) were tabbed as the co-players of the week.

Clark and Bratsch each fired a two-day one-under par total of 143 to led BW to its second consecutive Gatorade Collegiate Classic hosted by The College of Wooster at the Zoar Village Golf Course.  The Yellow Jackets won the invitational by five strokes.

Clark, who earns his second career weekly accolade, claimed his third career medalist honor as he carded a 73 in the first round and shot a career-low and second round-low 70 to tie for first. For his career, Clark has played in 33 tournaments and 57.5 rounds with 76.63 strokes per average. 

Bratsch, who earns his first weekly honor,  brought home his first medalist honor as he fired a career-best 71 in the opening round and followed with 72 to tie for first. In his career, Bratsch has played in 11 tournaments  and 17.5 rounds with a 78.51 average.

BW is back in action on Friday and Saturday, September 6-7 when it travels to Alliance to compete in the Malone University Fall Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Club.
