Men’s Golf Ties for Fourth at OAC Fall Preview to Close out Fall Season

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio –The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team closed out the fall portion of its schedule as it finished in a fourth place tie at the Ohio Athletic Conference Fall Preview hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.

BW was tied for fourth of seven teams with a two-round total of 620 on the par-72 and 6,668-yard River Greens layout.  Otterbein University was the champion with 591 strokes

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior All-OAC golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) as he placed 11th of 51 golfers with rounds of 78 and career-low tying 73 for an invitational total of 151.  Sophomore Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) fired rounds of 75 and 79 for a two-day total of 154.  Sophomore Dylan Boff (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) carded rounds of 77 and 84 for a two-round total of 161.  Senior Ben Ladaika (Erie, Pa./Erie Cathedral Prep) and sophomore Steven Newbould (Parma/Valley Forge) posted rounds of 85 and 76 each for a total of 161.

Playing as individuals were junior Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) and freshman Ian Dorman (Medina).  Dorman led the individuals with rounds of 86 and 80 for a total of 166. Budner tallied rounds of 86 and 83 for a total of 169.

BW returns to action in March of 2020 when it begins the spring portion of its schedule during its annual spring break trip.
