Men’s Golf Runner Up at BW Fall Invitational

HINCKLEY, Ohio –The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team was the runner up at its very own BW Fall Invitational at the Pine Hills Golf Club.

BW was second of six teams with 308 strokes on the par-72 and 6,748-yard Pine Hills layout.  John Carroll University was the champion with 296 strokes

The Yellow Jackets were led by sophomore Dylan Boff (Broadview Heights/North Royalton) as he fired a round of 76.  Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference golfer Jimmy Clark (North Olmsted) and senior Ben Ladaika (Erie, Pa./Erie Cathedral Prep) each carded rounds of 77.  Sophomore Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) tallied a round of 78. Rounding out the top five was sophomore Steven Newbould (Parma/Valley Forge) as he shot a round of 85.

Playing as individuals were junior Jared Budner (Macedonia/Nordonia) and freshman Ian Dorman (Medina).  Dorman led the individuals as he carded a round of 78.   Budner posted a round of 81.

BW close out the fall portion of its  schedule on Saturday and Sunday, October 5-6 when it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Fall Preview hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.
