Men's Basketball Salutes Three Seniors

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's basketball program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Terrel Hicks and Shane Zalba, as well as student manager Corey Jones on completing their outstanding athletic and coaching careers at the University. Their hard work, dedication and commitment to the program is evident, and is greatly appreciated. These two athletes and student manager helped BW win the OAC Championsip and make the NCAA Tournament in 2019. These young men have had solid careers not only athletically but academically as well. In addition, their leadership has been a key element.

The University also would like to thank the parents for their loyalty and support. Today, we also honor your hard work, commitment, and dedication as well.

The University administration, faculty and staff would like to wish all of you great success in all your future endeavors.

Terrell Hicks is a sport management major from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and a graduate of Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. He is a forward that earned his first varsity letter this winter. In his career, Hicks scored two points and grabbed two rebounds. Off the court, he is an Academic All-OAC performer, a Jacket Scholar, and a member of Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. He is the son of Mark and Tandy Hicks.

 

 

 

 

Shane Zalba is a business administration major from Mentor, Ohio and a graduate of Mentor High School. He is a guard that earned his fourth varsity letter this fall. In his career, Zalba scored 337 points, secured 166 rebounds, dished out 147 asissts, got 61 steals and 43 blocks. He is son of Christian (Zalba) and Piper Greenlee.

 

 

 

 

   

Corey Jones is a finance and sport management double major from Vermilion, Ohio and a graduate of Firelands High School. He is a student assistant coach that completed his fourth season this winter. Jones's favorite BW basketball memory is winning an OAC Championship. After graduation, he will get an MBA and pursue a job in basketball operations. Jones is the son of Mike and Toni Jones.

 

 

 

 

 

 Baldwin Wallace again would like to thank Terrell HicksShane Zalba and Corey Jones as well as their parents and guardians for all their hard work, dedication and commitment to Yellow Jacket men's basketball. Your efforts have truly made a difference both on campus and on the basketball court.

The University also would like to wish each of you all the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope that even after graduation you come back and visit us often. You will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).
