BEREA, Ohio—Senior four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver Maddie Fortune (Akron/Firestone) of the Baldwin Wallace University swimming and diving team has been selected as the OAC Diver-of-the-Week.

Fortune, who is the defending OAC Diver-of-the-Year, garners her first career OAC weekly accolade.  She helped BW to a 110-77 victory against Penn State-Behrend (Pa.) College on Saturday afternoon with a victory in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events.

Fortune, who remains undefeated in both diving events this season, won the 1-meter with a season-best score of 225.95.   She picked up her second victory of the meet as she won the 3-meter event with a score of 190.60.  Fortune is 5-0 in the 1-meter and 2-0 in the 3-meter.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, November 20 when they travel to Alliance for an OAC dual meet against the University of Mount Union inside the Hammond Natatorium at 6 p.m.   BW then travels to Gambier on Saturday, November 21 for a non-conference dual meet against perennial NCAA Division III power Kenyon College inside the James A. Steen Aquatic Center at 1 p.m.
