BW Junior Doug Ganim is OAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week

BEREA, OHIO -  Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's tennis student-athlete Doug Ganim (Westerville/ Olentangy Orange) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.  He earned the honor for his exceptional play during the first three days in Hilton Head.

To date on the spring trip, Ganim is 4-0 in singles and 3-1 in doubles as the Yellow Jackets (7-1 overall). Ganim plays No.2 singles (6-0 in dual matches) and No.1 doubles (6-1 in dual matches). Overall this season, he is 8-3 in singles and 9-3 in doubles.

For his career, Ganim is 26th all-time in singles wins with 51 (51-13 overall) and has combined with fellow junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC student-athlete Peter Harris (Akron/ Richfield Revere) to rank 24th all-time in doubles victories with 53 (53-17 overall).

The Yellow Jackets are currently competing in Hilton Head, South Carolina during their annual spring break trip to the Hilton Head (S.C.) Tennis and Beach Club.

The first northern match is on Saturday, March 21 at Defiance College. The first home match is on Tuesday, April 7 versus OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at 3:30 p.m.
