Fredrick Earn First Career OAC Player-of-the Week Honor
BEREA, Ohio -- Baldwin Wallace University sophomore men's tennis student-athlete Kevin Fredrick (Archbold) has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player-of-the-Week.

Fredrick, who plays No.5 singles and No.3 doubles, earned his first career OAC Weekly honor. He had a 5-0 singles and 5-0 doubles record during BW's annual spring break trip to the Hilton Head (S.C.) Tennis and Beach Club. He helped BW (8-1) compile a 4-1 slate in Hilton Head.

The two-year starter has compiled a 10-2 singles mark, including 8-1 in dual matches, and combines with fellow sophomore Brian Carano (Akron/ Revere) for a 10-3 doubles mark, including 7-1 in dual maches. For his career, Fredrick is 14-4 in singles play and 28-9 in doubles action.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Saturday, March 21 when they travel to Defiance to play a non-league match versus Defiance College at 10:00 a.m. The Yellow Jackets open 2015 OAC play in Columbus on March 28 when BW plays at Capital University at 11:00 a.m.
