MEDINA, Ohio. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team fell to the Marietta Pioneers by a final score of 2-7 at Paramount Tennis Club. 

Singles Play (1-5) 

• Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown / Wadsworth) fell to Isabella Paixao, 1-6, 1-6
• Junior Academic All-OAC selection Kierstyn Yates (Grafton / Midview) defeated Abby Hartshorn, 6-0, 6-1
• Sophomore Emma Trost (Norwalk) fell to India Flores, 4-6, 1-6
• Freshman Gillian Brown (Brunswick) fell to Ryan Hader, 2-6, 1-6
• Junior Academic All-OAC selection Juliet Penrod (Macedonia / Nordonia) fell to Parker Mauk, 1-6, 2-6
• Senior Nicole Babik (Medina / Highland) fell to Elizabeth Vigue, 6-4, 3-6, 7-10

Doubles Play (1-2)

• Heideman and Yates fell to Paixao/Haider, 2-8
• Trost and Brown defeated Hartshorn/Mauk, 8-2
• Penrod and Babik were defeated by Vigue/Flores, 3-8

BW (1-9) returns to action on Monday, April 3, when they travel to Muskingum Tennis Courts to face off against Muskingum at 4:00 p.m.
