Women’s Lacrosse Voted Fourth in OAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team was fourth in the 2022 Ohio Athletic Conference preseason coaches' poll.

BW comes in at fourth after receiving 45 points and one first place vote. The defending OAC regular season and tournament champions John Carroll University got the top spot with 57 points and five first place votes. The University of Mount Union came in a close second with 55 points and two first place votes. Capital placed third with 48 points and one first place. Rounding out the top five was Otterbein University with 34 points.

Fifth-year head coach Nicolle Shoger returns 16 letterwinners and three All-Ohio Athletic Conference players from last year's squad that went 2-12 and 2-12 in the OAC.

BW takes the field for the first time on Saturday, February 19th when it hosts a non-conference game against Centre (Ky.) College at 3:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.
