Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Crosstown Rival John Carroll

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team fell to crosstown rival John Carroll University in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 17-9 on the Tressel Field inside George Finnie Stadium.

BW Leaders (5-9, 3-4 OAC)

  • Senior All-OAC midfielder Maddie Ray (Cuyahoga Falls/Richfield Revere) had two goals and three assists.
  • Senior midfielder Sid Chamberlin (Wooster) recorded two goals and on assist
  • Senior All-OAC goalkeeper Ashleigh Hildreth (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) led with 11 saves.

JCU Leaders (7-5, 5-1 OAC)

  • Junior midfielder Shannon Burdick led with four goals.
  • Sophomore attacker Olivia Hanulak added three goals and two assists.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Ava Welchans led with eight saves.
