GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN -- Senior Ken Janosko (Mentor) placed 10th of 333 total men's runners today (Saturday, September 8, 2012) as the Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the annual Calvin College Knight Invitational Meet in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The men scored 345 total points to place 13th of 19 teams and the women scored 338 points to place 12th of 22 teams. Individually, Janosko led the Yellow Jackets and finished the 8K course in 25:24.9 overall.
In addition to Janosko, junior Dusan Vasic (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights) was 82nd place in 26:47.8, sophomore Greg Blevins (Mentor) was 83rd in 26:48.4, senior Nick Jeffers (South Amherst/ Firelands) was 176th in 28:00.1 and freshman Dan Nowak (Morgantown, W.Va./ University) was 212th in 28:44.3 overall.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action next Saturday, Sept. 15 when they travel to Rochester, New York to compete at the University of Rochester Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
