Men 28th at All-Ohio Cross Country Championships

CEDARVILLE, OHIO --  The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team competed today at the annual All-Ohio Championships hosted by Cedarville University. The men's team finished 28th of 44 teams from all divisions of NCAA and NAIA and placed 14 of 22 Division III teams with 319 total points.

The Yellow Jacket men were led by senior Ken Janosko (Mentor) who finished 22nd overall, and 3rd in Division III with a time of 25:16.32.  Along with Janosko finishing for BW were sophomore Greg Blevins (Mentor) placing 118th overall and 29th in Division III with a time of 26:44.58, junior Dusan Vasic (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) finished 189th overall and 78th in Division III with a time of 27:52.26, senior Nicholas Jeffers (South Amherst / Firelands) placing 220th overall and 100th in Division III with a time of 28:33.26, senior David Gerding (Strongsville) placed 229th overall and 109th in Division III with a time of 28:44.49, freshman Dan Nowak (Morgantown, W. Va. /University) placing 243rd overall and 120th in Division III with a time of 29:06.40, and rounding it out for the Yellow Jackets was freshman Edwin Rosa (Olmsted Falls) who placed 281st overall and 144th in Division III with a time of 31:49.03.     

Freshman Jason Young (Parma /Normandy) led BW in the 8K open meet finishing 171st overall with a time of 29:09.87.  Along with Young, freshman Gabe Buehner (Parma) placed 172nd with a time of 29:10.99, freshman Alexander Fuhrmann (Painesville/Riverside) placing 182nd overall with a time of 29:21.43, senior Ryan Falow (Medina) placed 234th overall with a time of 31:03.83, and rounding it out for the Yellow Jackets was freshman Aaron Long (Mishawaka, Ind. /Penn) placing 242nd overall with a time of 31:13.78. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, October 13 when they travel to nearby Oberlin to compete at the Inter-Regional Rumble hosted by Oberlin College at 10:30 a.m.  BW then closes out the regular season when it travels to Wilmington to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Wilmington College on Saturday, October 27 at 11:00 a.m.
