BW Men Finish 18th at Inter-Regional Rumble Meet

OBERLIN, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team competed at the annual Oberlin College Inter-Regional Rumble Meet. They finished in 18th place. Ten Yellow Jacket men competed.

The Yellow Jackets were led by senior Ken Janosko (Mentor) who finished ninth of 275 total runners with a time of 24:21.40. He was followed in the Top-5 by sophomore Greg Blevins (Mentor) in 81st place in 25:50.60, junior Dusan Vasic (Broadview Heights/ Brecksville-Broadview Hts) in 90th place in 25:56.10, freshman Dan Nowak (Morgantown, W.Va./ University) in 190th place in 27:22.20 and senior David Gerding (Strongsville) in 199th place in 27:32.80.

In addition, freshman Gabe Buehner (Parma) was 211th in 27:48.00, freshman Alexander Fuhrmann (Painesville/ Riverside) was 234th in 28:24.30, freshman Jason Young (Parma/ Normandy) was 236th in 28:27.70, freshman Aaron Long (Mishawaka, Ind./ Firelands) was 249th in 29:05.00 and senior Ryan Fallow (Medina) was 250th in 29:08.50.

The Yellow Jacket men and women are back in action on Saturday, October 27 when they travel to Wilmington, Ohio to compete at the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Meet hosted by Wilmington College.
