BEREA, OHIO - The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team placed 19th of 36 teams competing at the 2009 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional this afternoon (Saturday, November 14) in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Sophomore Zach Szablewski (Tiffin/ Calvert) was the first Yellow Jacket to cross the finish line. He placed 60th overall of 248 runners with a time of 27:18.39 on the eight-kilometer course.
Also scoring for BW, junior Brian Gibbons (Rocky River) was 76th overall in 27:33.39, senior Brian Campbell (Berea) was 89th in 27:39.24, sophomore Tom Wilkin (Powell/ Olentangy Liberty) was 114th in 28:04.55, and senior Mark Buhoveckey (Brunswick/ Parma Padua Franciscan) was 121st in 28:08.30.
Also competing for the Jackets, senior James Eberts (North Canton/ Hoover) was 131st at 28:15.62 and freshman Kenneth Janosko (Mentor) was 166th at 28:55.03.
