BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Men's Volleyball coach Kyle Mars has announced the additions of Jason Donorovich and Greg Herceg as Assistant Coaches.

Donorovich joins the Yellow Jackets following a successful career as a middle blocker at Pennsylvania State University. The Lockport, N.Y. native was not only a 2020 team captain, but also a two-time All-Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association selection and ranked fifth in the country in total service aces (35) in 2020. Donorovich appeared in 70 matches in his career, recording 354 kills, 194 total blocks, 80 service aces and 40 assists. Donorovich earned valuable coaching experience as coach for the Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club and at the Penn State Boys Volleyball Camp.

"I'm excited to welcome Jason to our staff," said Mars. "He just completed a spectacular career at PSU as a dominant player in the middle. His knowledge of the game, experience and leadership abilities as a captain at the highest level will be very valuable for our young men as they establish themselves as collegiate players."

Herceg comes to Berea after serving as the head coach at his alma mater St. Ignatius High School. At the same time, Herceg served as a strength & conditioning coach at Hiram College, working with both men's and women's volleyball. A former standout volleyball player at Ball State University, Herceg was a four-year letter winner, 2013 first team All-Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (MIVA) performer and a four-time academic All-MIVA honoree. Herceg finished his career with 636 kills, 292 digs, 122 total blocks and 69 service aces

"Greg brings a great combination of high-level volleyball knowledge and strength & conditioning to our team," said Mars. "The guidance and passion he will provide our guys will allow us to make fast strides physically as a first-year program."
