CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball freshman outside hitter Michael Beard (Hillard/Darby) has been named to the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Men's Volleyball team as he was a second-team selection.

Beard, who becomes the school's first All-MCVL selection, ed BW and was fourth in the MCVL in kills per set with 3.28.  He was also was the team leader and was fifth the league in total kills with 187.  Beard was third on the team in service aces with 13, third in digs with 99, fourth in assists with 15 and fifth in total blocks with 14.

In its inaugural season, BW finished with an overall record of 6-10 and placed sixth in the MCVL with a mark of 6-10.
