Men’s Lacrosse Tabbed Second in OAC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – After winning the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title and a trip to the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship, the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team was tabbed second in the 2022 OAC Preseason Coaches' Poll.

BW received 73 points and one first place vote from the other nine OAC teams. The defending OAC Tournament champions John Carroll University received 81 points and eight first place votes. Ohio Northern University was voted into third with 60 points and Otterbein University was a close fourth place with 57 votes. Rounding out the top five was Capital University, who had 48 points.

Under the direction of first year head coach Tony Tatro, the team returns 23 letterwinners, seven All-Ohio Athletic Conference players and seven Academic All-OAC players from last year's squad that won the OAC Regular Season Title with an overall record of 13-2 and a 9-0 record during conference play.

The Yellow Jackets start the season on the road as they travel to Granville to take on Denison University on Saturday, February 19th on Deeds Field inside Piper Stadium at 12:00 p.m. OAC play is slated to start on March 26 as the team travels to Bexley to take on Capital University.
