Men’s Lacrosse Takes Down the Pioneers

MARIETTA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team took down Marietta College in an Ohio Athletic Conference game by a final score of 20-4 in Don Drumm Stadium.

BW (7-3, 3-0 OAC) Leaders

  • Junior All-OAC midfielder Kyler Byerly (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) tied a career-best with five goals. He also had three assists for a career-best eight points.
  • Sophomore All-OAC attacker Jake Nanosky (Medina) added four goals and three assists.
  • Junior All-OAC goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) led with four saves

Marietta (2-8, 0-3 OAC) Leaders

  • Junior attacker Connor Ficke led with one goal and one assist.
  • Junior goalkeeper Dane Barker led with 22 saves. 

1st Quarter (BW, 4-1)

  • 13:14 Byerly started off the action with an unassisted goal. (BW 1-0)
  • 10:15 Byerly found the back of the net again with an unassisted goal. (BW 2-0)
  • 4:26 Senior midfielder John Schulte (Grosse Pointe, Mich./South) scored his first goal of the game off a feed from Nanosky. (BW 3-0)
  • 3:14 Freshman attacker Eren Evenson got the scoring started for Marietta with an unassisted goal. (BW 3-1)
