AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Eight Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse student-athletes have been selected to the 2018 All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

Junior attack Chad Steinwachs (Buffalo, N.Y./Williamsville North), senior midfielder Matt McDowell (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) and junior defender Brian Jandzinski (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster Central) were each tabbed to the first team. Junior attack Mike Nanosky (Medina), sophomore midfielder Ben Kubiak (Wooster), freshman defender Matthew Rodenhouse (Pittsford, N.Y./Mendon), senior goalkeeper Mike Dizonno (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Adlai E. Stevenson) and senior midfielder Alex Juhasz (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster Central) each received an honorable mention selection.
Steinwachs earns his third consecutive All-OAC honor after finishing his best collegiate season with multiple school records. He led the OAC with a career-best 45 assists, was second with a career-high 87 points and was sixth with a career-best 42 goals, all of which led the Yellow Jackets and are single-season school records. Steinwachs also holds school records for goals in a game (7), assists in a game (7), career assists (74) and career points (165). The junior became just the third player in BW men's lacrosse history to amass 100 career points on March 7 with an assist for his second point of the game against Transylvania (Ky.) University. For his career, Steinwachs has scored 91 goals and added 74 assists for 165 points in 48 total games.
McDowell garners his second straight All-OAC accolade after being named to the first team a season ago. This season, the senior finished third on the team with 11 assists and fourth with a career-best 22 goals and 33 points. In just two seasons in the Brown and Gold, McDowell scored 42 goals and added 23 assists for 65 career points in 31 appearances.
Jandzinski earns his third consecutive All-OAC honor after an honorable mention selection as a freshman and a second-team nod as a sophomore. The junior captain led the defense and the team with career bests of 54 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers while also scoring his first collegiate goal for his first career point. For his career, Jandzinski has recorded 98 ground balls and 61 caused turnovers in 48 games.
Nanosky garners his second straight All-OAC accolade after also being named as an honorable mention last season. He led the team with a career-high seven man-up goals and tied for second with one man-down goal. The junior also finished third on the team with 27 goals and 37 points and fourth on the squad with 10 assists. In his two years in Berea, Nanosky has scored 55 goals and added 22 assists for 77 career points in 31 games.
Kubiak earns his first career All-OAC honor after a career sophomore campaign. He tied for fifth on the team with his career-high 21 goals and 29 points while dishing out a career-best eight assists. The sophomore also recorded career bests of 24 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. For his career, Kubiak has scored 23 goals and added 12 assists for 35 points in 31 games.
Rodenhouse garners his first All-OAC accolade after a solid freshman season in which he appeared in 15 games and made nine starts on the back line. He tallied a season-best and career-best 13 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.
Dizonno earns his second career All-OAC honor after an honorable mention selection as a freshman. The senior finished off his career with an 11-5 record in the net, recording a career-best and school-record 144 saves. He also was fifth on the team with a career-high 33 ground balls. For his career, Dizonno amassed a 46-13 record between the pipes and recorded 398 saves for a .541 career save percentage.
Juhasz garners his first career All-OAC accolade as a short stick defensive middie. This season, the senior caused a career-high 12 turnovers while recording one goal, one point and 21 ground balls. For his career, Juhasz scored eight goals and added five assists for 13 points and recorded 56 ground balls and 25 caused turnovers in 46 games.
BW finished the 2018 season with an 11-5 record and a 6-2 conference record, advancing to the OAC Championship for the first time in school history.
