Harders Garners First Career OAC Accolade

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore goalie Jake Harders (Rocky River/St. Edward) has been selected as Ohio Athletic ConferenceMen's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week.

Harders earns his first career OAC weekly accolade after he had 11 saves and allowed just three goals as the Yellow Jackets won their first-ever Ohio Athletic Conference men's lacrosse match with a 15-3 victory at Wilmington College last Saturday. Harders faced 23 shots, including 14 on-goal, and improved to 6-3 overall.

This season, he has started all nine games, totaled 493:02, and allowed 63 goals for a 7.67 goal-against-average with 73 saves and a .537 save percentage.

The men's lacrosse team is back in action on Wednesday, April 16 when it plays its first-ever home OAC game as it hosts Otterbein University on the Tressel Field at 7:30 p.m.
