Men's Basketball Salutes Senior Luke Schaefer

BEREA, Ohio –   The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's basketball program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Luke Schaefer on completing his outstanding athletic career at the University.

The University administration, faculty and staff congratulates Luke on his outstanding athletic and academic career as well as his leadership to the men's basketball program. The University would like to wish Luke all the best of luck in his future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that he comes back and visit us often. Luke will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Schafer is a marketing and finance double major from Medina, Ohio and a graduate of Medina High School.  He served as a student-assistant coach in 2021 as he was unable to play due to an injury.   Schaefer had his best season in the Brown and Gold in 2019-20 when he had career-highs in points with 295 and rebounds with 87 to earn an All-Ohio Athletic Conference honorable mention selection. For his career, Schaefer appeared in 79 games with 47 starts and earned three varsity letters.  He scored 586 points, grabbed 189 rebounds, dished out 73 assists, had 66 steals and 16 blocks.   Schaefer is the son of Jeff and Cindy Schaefer of Medina.
