BEREA, Ohio – Under the direction of fifth year head coach Tom Heil, the Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team and the Ohio Athletic Conference have released its 2021 schedule.   As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 fall and non-conference portions of the schedule were postponed, and a 2021 conference Friday and Saturday only schedule was adopted.  The first the weekend action is slated for January 22 and 23.

The schedule will feature six home-and-home weekend series and will conclude with the OAC Tournament during the first week of March. Game times are 7 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday.

BW opens the season at home against the University of Mount Union on Friday, January 22 before heading to Alliance on Saturday, January 23 for a clash with the Raiders.

The Yellow Jackets will also have home games on Saturday, January 30 against Marietta College, Saturday, February 6 against crosstown rival John Carroll University,  Friday, February 12 against Capital University, Friday, February 19 against Heidelberg University and Saturday, February 27 against Ohio Northern University on Seniors' Day.

The OAC Tournament opens up on Monday, March 1 with first round games featuring the four teams in the bottom of the standings.   The tournament continues on Tuesday, March 2 with quarterfinal games on the campuses of the highest seeds.   The semifinals will be contested on Thursday, March 4 on the campuses of the highest remaining seeds with the championship game to played on Saturday, March 6 on the campus of the highest remaining seed.
