AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball sophomore guard Anthony Mazzeo (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) and freshman guard Drew Wennes (Huron) have been named to the 2021 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Team.

Mazzeo, who garners his first accolade, was selected to the second-team.  This season, he led the team and was fourth in the OAC in scoring with a career-best 18.3 points-per-game.  Mazzeo was second on the squad with 19 assists.   He also grabbed 33 rebounds and had four steals and a career-best tying three blocks.   In just two seasons, Mazzeo has played in 34 games with 383 points, 111 rebounds, 44 assists, 13 steals and six blocks.

Wennes earns his first honor as he was tabbed as an honorable mention selection.   He was second on the team and 14th in the OAC in scoring with 14.8 points-per-contest.  Wennes grabbed 34 rebounds and tallied nine assists and three steals.  He scored a career-high 21 points in back-to-back games against crosstown rival John Carroll University on February 5 and 6.

BW, who was only able to play in eight games this winter, finished with a record of 2-6 and a mark of 2-6 in the OAC.
