BW Women's Swim Team Loses at Ohio Northern

ADA, Ohio --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team lost in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual match action at Ohio Northern University in the ONU Sports Center.

The BW women (5-5, 1-2 OAC) lost to the ONU women, 156-72.

Leading the way for the Yellow Jacket women were Maddie Fortune and Chandler Ashbaugh. Fortune finished first in the 3-meter diving with a score of 205.75 points and first in the 1-meter diving with a score of 218.25 points. Ashbaugh finished first in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:04.06, second in the 200-yard individual medley in 2:20.00 and fourth in the 100-yard free in 1:00.20. 

The BW swimmers and divers are back in action next Saturday, January 24 when they host OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University at 1 p.m. in the BW Natatorium.
