SCOTT SCROEDER'S CAREER SYNOPSIS:   Scott Schroeder played four years of golf and earned four letters. He is one of the best to ever play at BW. Scott helped BW to win the 2014 OAC title and advance to its first-ever NCAA Division III National Tournament. Scott was a two-time All-OAC first-team selection, a four-time OAC Golfer of the Week and a six-time tournament medalist, including at the 2017 OAC tourney when he shot a BW and OAC-record 65 in the second round.  For his career, Scott played in 44 total tournaments and 83.5 total rounds of 18 holes and averaged 76.66 strokes per round  That ranks him second all-time in BW school history.

ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Business Management 

TEAM CAPTAIN:  As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott is serving as a co-captain.

ACADEMIC HONORS:   Scott carried a 3.5 grade point average and was a Dean's List student.

SET BW and OAC TOURNEY RECORD:  When Scott carded a 7-under-par 65 on the second day of the 2017 OAC Championship Tournament on the River Greens Golf Course, he set both a BW and OAC Tournament single-round record 

2017 OHIO ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEDALIST:   As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott was the medalist at the 2017 OAC Tournament at the River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio. He carded an even-par 216 for 72 holes on the par-72 and 6,668-yard layout. He had rounds of 75 on the first day, a BW and OAC-record 65 on the second day and a 76 on the final day.

SIX-TIME TOURNAMENT MEDALIST:  Scott is a five-time tournament medalist. As a freshman in 2013-2014, he earned medalist honors at the 2013 John Carroll University Pat Flowers Fall Invitational Tournament at the Fowlers Mill Golf Course in Chesterland, Ohio.  As a junior in 2015-2016, Scott was the medalist at the University of Mount Union Fall Tournament on Sept. 13-14, 2015 at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio. He earned medalist honors at the University of Mount Union Raider Fall Tournament on Sept. 26-27, 2015 at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance, Ohio. As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott was the medalist at the OAC Invitational Tournament hosted by Capital University at the Cumberland Trails G.C. on April 9-10, 2017. He was the medalist at the JCU Cuyahoga River Classic at the Shaker Heights Country Club on April 23-24, 2017.  He also was the medalist at the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament on April 28-30, 2017.

ALL-OAC GOLFER:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Scott earned first-team All-OAC honors. As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott earned first-team All-OAC honors (OAC Tournament medalist).

FOUR-TIME OAC GOLFER OF THE WEEK:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Scott earned his first OAC Golfer of the Week honor on September 17, 2013.  As a junior in 2015-2016, he earned his second OAC Men's Golfer of the Week accolade on Sept. 15, 2015.  Scott also earned his third OAC Golfer of the Week honor two weeks later on Sept. 29, 2015.  As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott received his fourth OAC Golfer of the Week honor on April 11, 2017.

BW GOLF HONORS:   As a sophomore in 2014-2015, junior in 2015-2016 and senior in 2016-2017, Scott was named as the BW Most Valuable Player (MVP) and had the lowest stroke average on the team.  As a sophomore, he also received the Most Outstanding Underclassman Award. 

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Scott played his first season of golf and earned his first varsity letter. He played in 12 tournaments and 23.5 total rounds of 18 holes and was second on the team with a 78.17 stroke average, including shooting a season-low 73 twice. Scott was a first-team All-OAC selection and placed fourth individually at the OAC Tournament. He also earned medalist honors at the 2013 Fall JCU Pat Flowers Fall Invitational Tournament when he won a three-man playoff. He also was the OAC Golfer of the Week on September 17, 2013. BW won its first-ever OAC Tournament title in 2014, and placed 36th at the NCAA Division III National Tournament. It was the first-ever national tourney appearance for the BW men's golf team. 

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Scott played his second season of golf and earned his second letter. He played in all 10 tournaments and 19 total rounds and was second on the team in stroke average at 78.58 strokes. He shot a season-low 72 on two separate occassions in the fall of 2014 -- on the first day of the OAC Fall Invitational and on the second day of the Mount Union Fall Invitational. He was named as the BW MVP and as its Most Outstanding Underclassman Award-winner. Scott also placed in a tie for 32nd at the 2015 OAC Tournament. BW finished seventh at the 2015 OAC Tournament.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Scott played his third season of golf and earned his third letter. He played in 11 tournaments and 19 rounds of 18 holes and averaged 78.58 strokes per round. He was named as the BW MVP for the second straight year. He had a career-low 69 at the 2015 Fall University of Mount Union Tournament at the Tannenhauf Golf Course in Alliance on September 13 when was the tourney medalist. He also earned his second OAC Golfer of the Week award on Sept. 15. Scott earned his third career medalist honor and second in the fall of 2015 at the University of Mount Union Purple Raider Invitational on Sept. 26-27 when he carded back-to-back rounds of 71. It led to his third OAC Men's Golfer of the Week award on Sept. 29. BW finished fifth at the 2016 OAC Tournament.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott played his fourth season of golf and earned his fourth varsity letter. He was the No.1 player and a team captain. He played in all 11 tournaments and 21 rounds and led the team with a 74.14 stroke average. When Scott carded a 7-under-par 65 on the second day of the 2017 OAC Championship Tournament on the River Greens Golf Course, he set both a BW and OAC Tournament single-round record. Scott was the medalist at the 2017 OAC Invitational Tournament, hosted by Capital University at the Cumberland Trails Golf Club in Columbus, when he carded rounds of 71 and 71 on April 9-10. He subsequently earned his fourth career OAC Golfer of the Week honor on April 11. He was the medalist at the JCU Cuyahoga River Classic at the Shaker Heights Country Club on
