Schroeder Garners Fourth Career OAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior men's golf player Scott Schroeder (Aurora) garnered his fourth career Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week honor for his strong play at the OAC Spring Invitational.

Schroeder led BW to a sixth place finish and a team score of 631. He carded rounds of 71 and 73 for his winning two-day total of 144.  The day one round of 71 was a season-best and just two strokes shy of his career-best. This season he leads the team with a stroke average of 72.

In his career, Schroeder earned All-OAC honors as freshman with a fourth place finish at the OAC Championships and has now earned medalist honors four times. Last year the three-time letterwinner shot a career-best round of 69 at the University of Mount Union Raider Fall Tournament.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, April 14 when they travel to Sunbury for the Otterbein University Invitational at the Northstar Golf Course.
