WESTON LUCAS' CAREER SYNOPSIS:  Weston Lucas played three seasons of golf and earned three letters. He was mostly a starter for two-plus seasons. Weston played in 30 career tournaments and in 54 total rounds of 18 holes, averaged 80.77 strokes per round and had a career-low 73 on each of the first two days of the three-day and 72-hole OAC Championship Tournament at the River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio.

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  Weston played three seasons of golf and earned three varsity letters.

ALL-OHIO ATHLETIC CONFERENCE:  As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Weston placed seventh individually at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament to earn All-OAC honors. 

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:   As a transfer student to BW in 2014-2015, Weston played his first season of golf and earned his first varsity letter. He played in 10 tournaments and 19 rounds of 18 holes. He ranked fourth on the team with an 81.63 stroke average and had a season-low 76 during both the first and second rounds of the 2015 OAC Tournament. He placed in a tie for 11th individually to earn All-OAC honors. BW placed seventh at the 2015 OAC Tournament.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Weston played his second season of golf and earned his second letter.  He competed in 11 tournaments and 19 total rounds and ranked fifth on the team with a 79.95 stroke per round average.  He shot a season and career-low 73 on each of the first two days of the 2016 OAC Championship Tournament. BW placed fifth as a team.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Weston played his third season of golf and earned his third letter. He was a starter for most of the season, but did not compete at the 2017 OAC Tournament. He played in nine of 11 tournaments and 16 total rounds, and ranked fifth on the team with an 80.75 stroke average. He had a season-low of 76 at the 2017 John Carroll University Invitational at River Greens G.C. BW finished fifth at the 2017 OAC Tournament.

CAREER LOW ROUND:

• Weston shot a career-low 73 on two separate occassions with the last coming at the 2016 OAC Championship Tournament in the final round on April 30 at the River Greens Golf Course

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:

• Weston played four seasons of soccer, basketball and baseball
• He also played one season of golf
• He was the Christian Community School Athlete of the Year as a senior
• Weston was named as the Most Valuable Player of the baseball team in 2012 

PERSONAL INFORMATION: 

• Weston was a finance and marketing double major  
• He transferred to BW after freshman year
• Weston is the son of Robert and Kathleen Lucas
