ACADEMIC MAJOR:   Business Management

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Scott Schroeder played his third season of men's golf at Baldwin Wallace University in 2015-2016. The returning two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and three-time OAC Player of the Week selection and two-time Yellow Jacket Most Valuable Golfer earned his third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Scott carries a 3.45 grade point average and is a Dean's List student.

ALL-OAC HONORS:   As a freshman in 2013-2014, Scott earned first-team All-OAC honors by placing fourth at the 2014 OAC Tournament.

MOST VALUABLE GOLFER: As a sophomore in 2014-2015 and junior in 2015-2016, Scott was named as BW's MNost Valuable Player/ Golfer.

THREE-TIME TOURNAMENT MEDALIST:  Scott is a three-time tournament medalist. He earned medalist honors at the 2013 John Carroll University Pat Flowers Fall Invitational Tournament. He also was the OAC Golfer of the Week on September 17, 2013. As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Scott received the BW Most Outstanding Underclassman Award. As a junior in 2015-2016, Scott was the medalist at the University of Mount Union Raider Fall Tournament on Sept. 13-14 and was the OAC Men's Golfer of the Week on Sept. 15. He also earned medalist honors at the second University of Mount Union Fall Purple Raider Invitational on Sept. 26-27 and earned his third OAC Men's Golfer of the Week honor on Sept. 29.

THROUGH-THE-YEARS:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Scott played his first season of golf and earned his first varsity letter. He played in 12 tournaments and 23.5 total rounds of 18 holes and was second on the team with a 78.17 stroke average, including shooting a season-low 73 twice. Scott was a first-team All-OAC selection and placed fourth individually at the OAC Tournament. He also earned medalist honors at the 2013 Fall JCU Pat Flowers Fall Invitational Tournament when he won a three-man playoff. He also was the OAC Golfer of the Week on September 17, 2013. BW won its first-ever OAC Tournament title and placed 36th at the NCAA Division III National Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Scott played his second season of golf and earned his second letter. He played in all 10 tournaments and 19 total rounds and was second on the team in stroke average at 78.58 strokes. He shot a season-low 72 on two separate occassions in the fall of 2014 -- on the first day of the OAC Fall Invitational and on the second day of the Mount Union Fall Invitational. He received the Most Outstanding Underclassman Award and the Most Valuable Player Awardf. Scott placed in a tie for 32nd at the 2015 OAC Tournament. BW finished seventh as a team.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Scott played his third season of golf and earned his third letter. He was the medalist at the University of Mount Union Purple Raider Fall Tournament on Sept. 13-14 and shot a career-low 69 on the first day. He also earned his second OAC Golfer of the Week award on Sept. 15. Scott earned his third career medalist honor and second in the fall of 2015 at the University of Mount Union Purple Raider Invitational on Sept. 26-27 when he carded back-to-back rounds of 71. It led to his third OAC Men's Golfer of the Week award on Sept. 29. He played in all 11 tournaments and 20 rounds this season and led the team with a career-low 75.7 stroke average. He was named as the BW Most Valuable Golfer for the second straight season. Scott placed in a tie for 15th at the 2016 OAC Championship Tournament. BW finished fifth as a team.

As a senior in 2016-2017, Scott is playing his fourth season of golf and hopes to earn his fourth letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Scott grew up in Aurora, Ohio and graduated from Aurora High School in the spring of 2013.

Scott played four seasons of golf and earned three varsity letters. Scott was named second-team All-District twice and first-team All-Chagrion Valley Conference three times. He also set a school-record for the lowest round in school history. 

Academically, Scott was a member of the Spanish Club.
