BW Men’s Golf Team Finish Seventh at OAC Spring Invitational

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished seventh at the 2015 Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational Tournament, hosted by Otterbein University, at the Little Turtle Country Club in Columbus.

BW carded a first round 319 on the par-72 and 6,222-yard course and had a round of 340 on the second day for a 659-stroke team total to place seventh of eight teams.

Leading the way was senior All-OAC player and 2014 OAC medalist Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) with rounds of 76 and 79 for a 36-hole total of 155 total strokes.

He was followed by sophomore All-OAC standout Scott Schroder (Aurora) with rounds of 79 and 86 for a 165 total; sophomore Matt Kerschner (Independemce) with rounds of 81 and 85 for a 166 total; senior Cody Lyon (Medina/ Highland) with rounds of 83 and 93 for a 176 total; and sophomore Weston Lucas (Columbia Station/ Christian Community School) with rounds of 88 and 90 for a 178 total.

Playing as individuals, senior Andy Ingram (Vermilion) had rounds of 84 and 87 for a 171 total; freshman Dennis Millgard (North Ridgeville) had rounds of 90 and 86 for a 176 total; sophomore Austin Griffith (Barberton) had rounds of 101 and 92 for a 193 total; and junior Aaron Harden (Mentor) had rounds of 104 and 100 for a 204 total.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this Saturday and Sunday, April 18-19 when BW travels to Wooster to compete at the annual Nye Intercollegiate Tournament hosted by The College of Wooster at the Wooster Country Club.
