BW Men Finish 10th at BSN Fall Invitational

HOWARD, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team finished 10th of 11 teams at the BSN Fall Invitational hosted by Kenyon College at the Apple Valley Golf Course. It was the last fall tournament of the season for the Yellow Jackets.

BW carded rounds of 323 on Sunday and 322 on Monday for a 645-stroke total on the par-72 and 6,946-yard Apple Valley Golf Course layout.

Leading the way was senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference competitor Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) who carded rounds of 77 and 77 for a 154-stroke total to place in a tie for 16th. In addition, sophomore All-OAC player Scott Schroeder (Aurora) had rounds of 77 and 78 for a 155-stroke total to rank in a tie for 21st.

Joining the duo in the starting lineup were sophomore Matt Kershner (Independence) who had rounds of 84 and 87 and his 171-stroke total, transfer Weston Lucas (Columbia Station/Christian Community School) had rounds of 90 and 82 for a 172 total, and junior Connor Duplin (North Canton / St. Thomas Aquinas) had rounds of 85 and 88 for a total of 163.

The Yellow Jackets will resume the 2014-2015 season in the spring of 2015 when they make their annual spring break trip.
