BW Men’s Golf Team is Seventh After Second Day of OAC Tourney
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team stands sixth after the second day and 54 holes of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament at the River Greens Golf Club. The final 18 holes will be played tomorrow, Sunday, April 26.

BW has carded rounds of 311, 318 and 316 for a 54-hole total of 1,192 total strokes on the par-72 and 6,668-yard River Greens layout to stand sixth of eight total teams.

After three rounds, sophomore Weston Lucas (Columbia Station/ Christian Community School) has carded rounds of 76, 76 and 79 to lead the way with 231 total strokes. He is followed by senior defending OAC Tournament medalist Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) with rounds of 79, 75 and 78 for a 232-stroke total.

In addition, sophomore All-OAC player Scott Schroeder (Aurora) has rounds of 77, 85 and 80 for a 242-stroke total, sophomore Matt Kershner (Independence) has rounds of 79, 85 and 79 for a 243-stroke total, and senior Cody Lyon (Hinckley/ Medina Highland) has rounds of 79, 82 and 83 for a 244-stroke total.

Teams are expected to tee off on Sunday morning at 10 a.m.

The winner of the OAC Tournament receives an automatic berth into the 2015 NCAA Division III National Tournament. BW is the defending OAC champion and advanced to the NCAA tourney a year ago.
