Kuhn Garners Second OAC Player of the Week Honor

BEREA, Ohio --  Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference guard Cam Kuhn (Vermilion) is this week's Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week.  Kuhn scored 82 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in two games last week for the Yellow Jackets. 

Kuhn scored a BW single-game school-record 51 points and had a single-game school-record-tying nine three-pointers in a 110-109 double overtime loss at the University of Mount Union last Wednesday, December 2. His 51 points broke the BW single-game record of 47 points previously held by BW Hall of Famer Bob Walters '64 in a game in 1961.

Kuhn added a game-high 31 points and grabbed a career-high-tying six rebounds in an 80-69 victory at Otterbein University on Saturday, December 5. Kuhn also made a single-game school-record 15 of 15 foul shots at Otterbein.

Kuhn canned 24 of 45 shots from the floor for 53.3 percent, including 11 of 21 three-pointers for 52.3%, and 23 of 24 foul shots for 95.8%. In addition to his 82 points and 10 rebounds, he had two assists and two steals. 

Kuhn, the OAC Freshman of the Year in 2014-2015, leads BW (5-2, 1-1 OAC) and the league in scoring at 24.7 points-per-game. He shoots 53.5% from 3-point range (23 of 42) and 90.5% from the foul line (38 of 42), grabs 4.9 rebounds per game, and leads the team with 22 assists and seven steals.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this Saturday, December 12 when they travel to New Concord, Ohio to play in the second game of a women's and men's doubleheader at Muskingum University. The women tip off at 2 p.m. and the men at 4 p.m.
