NORTON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished third at the All-Ohio Championships, hosted by the University of Akron at the Silver Creek Metro Park Cross Country Trails.

Freshman Alyssa Laughner (Horward, Pa./Central Mountain) and sophomore All-OAC performer Hastings Marek (Pataskala/Watkins Memorial) rounded out the top-five finishers for the Yellow Jackets. Laughner ran a career-best time of 24:01.4 to finish 43rd in Division III and 124th overall, improving on the time from her first collegiate meet last weekend by 52.5 seconds.
