Women's Cross Country Teams Compete at Rochester Invite

ROCHESTER, NEW YORK--  The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team competed at the annual YellowJackets Invitational in Rochester, New York.

The women scored 346 points to place 13th of 23 teams. Individually, senior Shaina Kovatch (Parma/ Valley Forge) led the women as she placed 52nd of 360 total runners and completed the 6K course in 23:19.8 overall.

Following Kovatch for the women were junior Lauren McGaughey (Allison Park, Pa./ Hampton) was 69th place in 23:19.8, freshman Kali Fittro (Tiffin/ Columbian) was 109th in 24:10.8, junior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) was 132nd in 24:25.2 and senior Tess Hoogeveen (Westerville/South) was 154th in 24:41.1

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, Sept. 29 when they travel to Cedarville, Ohio to compete at the All-Ohio Championships at 2:00 P.M.
