GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN --  The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team competed at the annual Calvin College Knight Invitational Meet in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The women scored 338 points to place 12th of 22 teams.  Individually, senior Shaina Kovatch (Parma/ Valley Forge) led the women as she placed 37^th of 313 total runners and completed the 5K course in 18:58.9 overall.

Following Kovatch, freshman Kali Fittro (Tiffin/ Columbian) was 77^th in 19:40.3, junior Lauren McGaughey (Allison Park, Pa./ Hampton), junior Lauren Hutka (North Ridgeville/ Grafton Midview) was 112^th in 20:07.7 and sophomore Dusica Vasic (Broadview Hts./ Brecksville-Broadview Hts.) was 123^rd in 20:20.8

The Yellow Jackets are back in action next Saturday, Sept. 15 when they travel to Rochester, New York to compete at the University of Rochester Invitational at 10:00 a.m.
