Women's Lacrosse Shuts Out Greensboro (N.C.) in Non-Conference Game

GREENSBORO, N.C. The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team faced Greensboro (N.C.) College for a non-conference matchup on Pride Field. The Yellow Jackets dominated the Pride by a 16-0 final score. 

BW (4-2) was led by sophomore attack Carley House (Hilliard / Darby) as she racked up three goals with three shots on goal. Sophomore attack Mariana Melgoza (Avon Lake), senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Deanna Loukas (Tuckahoe, N.Y. / Eastchester), and freshman attack Kiana Allan (Perrysburg) also tallied two goals each.

BW's sophomore goalkeeper Caroline Potteiger (Grand Rapids, Mich. / East Grand Rapids) had a spectacular day at the net as she shut out the Pride. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, March 12 in a non-conference matchup to take on Oberlin College. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tressel Field inside of George Finnie Stadium.
