BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team faced Capital University for an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Comets by a 15-14 final score.
BW (8-5, 3-1 OAC) was led by freshman midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind. / Guerin Catholic) as she had an electric performance with six goals, two assists, two ground balls, five draw controls and two casued turnovers. The Yellow Jackets were also led by senior All-OAC midfielder Deanna Loukas (Tuckahoe, N.Y. / Eastchester), junior midfielder Rennick Mellon (Akron / Archbishop Hoban) and freshman attack Emma Northrup (Hudson) as they each notched up two goals.
Capital was led by junior midfielder Grace Osborn as she totaled seven goals, eight draw controls, an assist, a ground ball and a caused turnover.
