BW Cross Country Teams Compete at All-Ohio Meet

CEDARVILLE, OHIO.  --  The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team competed today at the annual All-Ohio Championship Meet hosted by Cedarville University.

The BW men scored 289 points to place 13th of 21 total teams. 

Leading the way for the men was sophomore Mike Miller (Strongsville) who placed 5th of 143 total runners in the 8,000-meter run with a mark of 26:11.75. 

Miller was followed by junior Greg Blevins (Mentor) in 14th place in 26:35.58, senior Dusan Vasic(Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) in 63rd place in 28:08.08, sophomore Dan Nowak (Morgantown, W. Va/University) in 94th place in 29:34.53 and sophomore Alex Fuhrmann(Painesville/Riverside) in 118th place in 31:03.99. The top 35 runners are All-Ohio.

In the 8,000-meter open run, sophomore Gabe Buehner (Parma) placed 211th of 318 total runners in a mark of 30:22.40.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Ocober 19 when they travel to nearby Oberlin to compete at the Inter-Regional Meet hosted by Oberlin College at 10:30 a.m.
