BW Men Place Eighth at OAC Championships

WESTERVILLE, OHIO.  --  The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team placed eighth at the 2013 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships hosted by Otterbein University.
The top 18 runners are deemed All-OAC (first nine make the first-team and the second nine make the second-team). The BW men scored 202 points to place eighth of 10 total teams.  

Leading the way for the men was sophomore Mike Miller (Strongsville) who placed 17th of 140 total runners in a time of 26:15.0 on the 8,000-meter course to earn second-team All-OAC honors.  It was the fifth time this season that Miller led the Yellow Jacket men.  

Miller
 was followed by senior Dusan Vasic (Broadview Heights/Brecksville-Broadview Heights) in 35th place in 26:54.5. Also, Greg Blevins (Mentor) finished in 40th place in 27:00.8, Dan Nowak (Morgantown, W. Va./University) placed 93rd in 28:26.9 and Gabe Buehner (Parma) placed 109th in 29:10.3

The Yellow Jackets are idle next weekend and next compete at the 2013 NCAA Division III Great Lakes Region Championship Meet at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Saturday, November 16.  The top 35 runners earn all-region honors.
