BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University Men's Volleyball Head Coach Kyle Mars has announced the addition of Dr. Dan Martin, Ph.D. to his coaching staff as an assistant coach for 2022 campaign.

"I am excited to be a part of a young but very promising team and program," Martin commented. "I look forward to contributing my expertise in volleyball and with analytics to help our student-athletes reach their goals we have set for them as well as our team goals of being one of the top teams in the conference."

Martin currently serves as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute.  Prior to the Cleveland Clinic, he was a teaching assistant for four years at the University South Florida. Martin has also been playing competitive beach volleyball since 2014.

"Dan is a unique and exciting addition to our staff; with his beach volleyball background he provides our guys with some great feedback regarding ball control and intentionality with our skill work," Mars said. "In addition to that, coming from the medical field he is providing myself and the staff with some great data-driven perspectives that really help us make better decisions overall."
